Also just in case anybody was wondering, the A. Stalsbergi was an F1 and not wild. I bought him from Jeff Rapps, and would strongly recommend his valuable and rewarding services, such as his passion and specialty in new world cichlids.

Here is my little guy , from what I have been told he has been stunted because he is not growing at a very good rate. I purchased him with a group of fish from Rapps and he is the only one that shows signs of slow growth rate. I am curious wether or not he will evenyually catch up or will he flat out stay smaller than the average gt. I hope others will chime in on this post.
Stalsbergi is usually smaller and more aggressive then Saums and GT's are known to be slower growers then usual cichlids, like let's say Oscars for example, so I wouldn't worry about it yet. A stunted fish will however have larger eyes then normal so that's one way to tell if urs is stunted
