Here is an update of mine. I have always had canister filters and this is my 1st attempt at using a Wet/Dry Sump. Added the sump several weeks ago and took out one of the C360 canisters. I actually had to cut out one of the back upright supports to get the sump under the stand. It worked out Great and I really like the added benefits of the sump so far.

2 Weeks ago:

Wauv all you monster freaks
Now i almost dont dare to show my new underfiltered tank,im from denmark and had a german company called diamant aquarium building a 3150 l or something like 850 gallon all glass fishtank 2 weeks ago so it still neds 2 more weeks for drying.
Its not up and running yet but i got fx 5 for one end and the other end a tiny compared to yours sump on about 70 gallon with a newjet fresh/salt water pump with a capacity off 2400 l or 650 gallon p/h,i have added a 18w uv light to it.
After reading all threads here tonight you got me thinking, qurently i store my fish in a temperary all glass fishtank on about 250 gallon maybe that is more suitable for sump ?

I will post pics tonight when i get home from work or during the weekend.
Thx for all the good idea`s i got from reading this thread, makes a big help on my first big tank project.

For those of you who's under tank status is not as pretty as many of these, you are not alone. HAHA

Here is my not so organized set up. Note the child locks. That's one reason I don't have time to organize the underside.

Simple setup. Fx5 and Aquatop cf-500uv. The fluval has the stock sponges and the rest is seachem matrix/fluval biomax. The Aquatop is all filter cloth/sponges. Plus the UV on it helps.

Tank is an All-Glass 125
