Best pic of my ornate. Am looking for a green bichir actually. Any advise on what species? Last saw one 10 years ago. Looked liked a green ornate. I narrowed them down to palmas pollis or weeksii

If you want a green bichir, look into a koliba or PBB. If your looking to stay with the upper jaws then Palmas palmas is also my favorite bichir that usually has a lot of green. Dels and pollis also get pretty green on black substrate.

Thanks guys! Palmas Palmas looks like the one for me! Just have to wait patiently for it and not buy anything else...........

Another shot of my ornate and my 2 lapradei. The smaller one lost an eye somehow. Interestingly when I bought the ornate, it out grew the lapradei. Thought the lapradei will be monster sized
