i am very interested in this thread as i nearly posted a similar one last night,, i did my fish checks before the usual turn off the tank lights to find the front half of my microlepis totally pale pink,,, i have seen him lose his bars to yellow sometimes but it was exactly half and a definate line between pink half and normal stripey half, he was pink from lips to just after the gills , i thought it was ill and did a water change , vac'd the sand bed, and then went to bed , first thing in the morning i checked and he is back to stable self ,, i wish i took a pic ,, if it happens again i will get the camera on him , but my mind is at rest now i see that others have a complete pink/white wash ,,
