I saw a 18"+ pacu in a 125 not that long ago. this thing was so cramped that it only had about 2" or water between the him and the gravel and the top of the tank. This thing would get to moving his pectoras around and would stir up all of the gravel that he was near. It was crazy. When I asked if this fish was a local bring in or one of his own the guy said that he had had it for 14years (seems like a long time to be so small to me.)
so I guess there is just to many variables to prove weather or not they can break glass. how old is the tank. how much stuff is in the tank that can get puched into the glass to weaken it.
