Yeah, seems like a lot of complexes in one single guy.. couldnt resist looking at his profile.. hes hunting others' mothers and exceeding us all on a daily basis..

I'd say coke, alcohol, maybe some testo and a slightly broken mind.. maybe just came into some money and feel the need to separate himself from his poor background by looking down on others..

Am i close guapote?

Quite true if you ask me.

I quite like the catfish and the gar. I really want to build a centerpiece tank like this one day.

Also what filtration do you use?

Its the big box on the left side of the tank.. trickle filter.. bioballs and a load of roots from the plants.. :)

Most of my filtration is managed by the plants to be honest.. i also have a smaller box for mech on the left side of the tank.. 8th floor so i didnt want to provoce the floor any further by adding a sump..

Cool stuff. I am planting my tank as heavy as i can. One type of plant i have has grown about 25-30cm in a few weeks. I need to split it or something. Right now if i get a tank that size i would keep afew fancy goldfish :)

Thats the tiny irwini.. its like 6-8 pounds..

Why would i want a fish that will absolutely outgrow any tank? The tsn hybrid is 24" and will probably stop at 30" maybe.. which is kind of perfect for a fish you plan on keeping indoors..
Yeah i sort of do to.. i'll have tigers again but they were centerpieces for about 8 years.. felt like doing something new..
That NGT was still my favourite. Fair dues for making a change-plants look amazing

Thats awesome man.. stick to what works.. i went to an auction and just bought everything.. i knew most of it would die.. i also knew whatever survived would grow strong..

Dont force anything.. let it take time.. also keep those african knifes.. they are awesome and will work really well as a clean up crew in a bigger tank.. :)

He was a monster indeed
Me? Long story! Just emigrated to BC, Canada from Uk. Gave my fish away late last Year but have been quietly reading the site here-agree with you it's not quite like it was and a lot of the real MFK's seem to have gone which is sad. In rental property at present so can't have a big tank but am gathering info. Ready for when do get a place of our own

My pink tail cleans up all food, my knives have to be handfed to a degree as i have to hold the bloodworm cube down and they eat what falls off. They are coming out of their shell and being more busy during daytime
