Local Fish Store/Chain Store Red Texas - Red Texas or Kamfa Flowerhorn?

Looks remarkably like the Red Texas that I bought last week from Petsmart. I'm curious as to what they will look like in the future.

Here's mine, about 1 month after I bought it. It has grown to about 4" and has the same coloration as before. I think it's a good looking fish. I am wondering, what age do they "normally" fade? Simply curious, as I do love this fish.

if they even fade at all, i would say keep being patient. i have seen some fade at 7 inches

I bought this guy(or gal?) from Petsmart as a RT...could it be? Any thoughts please enlighten me. I love the fish either way just curious if I in fact did get an actual RT.

Apologies for the blurry pics, have asked the LFS for a small video as well. He says it's a Trimus crossbreed kamfa.

It's been many many years since i had a FH and am totally out of sync with the different strains now.

Is it a good buy and will the red pop out as he grows up is what i wanted to know.
