Video was taken sometimes in June (Dry season). I have to double check, awaiting for video's owner to reply me.
Raining season (precipitation) in Para, Brazil is b/w Jan to April. Breeding usually happens 2 weeks into raining season.
That should imply this Cichla's color in video was NOT breeding color unless other evidence suggests otherwise.
