More likely bred for long fins, so yes, man made/manipulated.

Clown knifes must be easy to breed if they are making stuff like this? I wonder how they breed them, hormone injections or perhaps they are easy if given the space?

I can't imagine this fish moving properly given the unique way a knife moves. Would be interested to see this fish in motion maybe it works better than what I am imagining.

Pretty silly looking...I LOL'd when I saw the pic. Kind of makes the swimming function an adventure. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder but I think somebody is wearing a blindfold.
