Lookinf for some info about Paroon sharks and black ear sharks

Blackears suck and they dont look kool their just commonly sold under the name as paroon because of there dorsal fin

I'll be the guy to say it. Don't get them. They eat alot and grow fast. I had a pair in my 180g. One was pretty mellow, but the dominant one was a huge pain. Someone above said they can eat fish have their size.... The dom. I had ate a tinfoil barb roughly the same size as itself and a day didn't go by that the same paroon didn't try to get my arrowana in his mouth, despite the arrow being 2 to 3 times as big. Both fish went crazy when food hit the tank which presents another issue with other fish trying to feed.
If your keeping them by themselves or with similar go for it, but for a community tank/pond I would think carefully.
Yeah, I'm the negative/cautious one here, but I've had a pair and though they're awesome to watch they can be more than a handful.
