Magnum 350

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had one. It was easy to operate and easy to replace the filter pad. No noise what so ever - I had it in my bedroom. The carbon holder on those are unique - that's why I used it.

I used mines on a 55 gallon tank with 3 rbp - it did the job perfectly. I don't know for larger tanks...

get it, dont spend more then 45$ on one though, they are ancient now! ive had many, still have one. i used it with an AC110 on my 120Gallon tank.

And yes he's right, they are pretty outdated nowadays - don't spend more than $40ish on it

I have 2 on my 150 gallon tank. They work well. The only complaint I have is that the media canister doesn't hold up very well. It has a plastic mesh screen that once it gets out of wack is very difficult to get to stay in place.

So I should go with the ac110 then???

IMO yes. I have had a few of those 350's over the years and never cared for them. They just felt cheap and old. They do work though. I would go with an AC110 over any day. Side note, the HOT mag 250 is a killer filter! I absolutly love those HOT Mag's! (derail over as you were :D)
