The smallest mahseer leave the 25K: two red tambra, one normal bodied sinensis, one khudree, and one putitora:

I'd like to state that as the two as-sold Tor tambra aka red mahseer keep growing, now around 1.5ft, they are beginning to strongly resemble Wesley Wong's Tor progenious in every aspect, body shape and proportions, scale size and color. I need to get some good photos of the 3 of them for close inspection and comparison.

It seems there a chance they might turn out to be the same species.

The two 1.5ft "tambra" have just come out of the 25K and into the 4.5K. The 2.5ft+ "progenious" remains in the 25K. The 2 tambra came to us at about 6 inches from Mike shookONES shookONES a few years back with his mahseer collection (originally had been bought from Wes too). Wesley sent us his "progenious" in Aug 2015, already at ~2ft.

One of the 2ft+ golden mahseer, the one-eyed one, got himself well trained to hand feed. The other never does this. It is much thicker though. Pays to have 2 eyes for an eye sight oriented predator.

The 1-eyed golden mahseer continues to entertain. The greed is tangible.

IDK what happened. One day perfect. The next paralyzed. I cannot think of anything but a back-breaking run-in. The 8yo 2.5ft golden mahseer in the 25K.
