White light dulls their color way too much. I had natural 15k and actinic....red shows the color so much better.

I kinda agree on the red a bit. Not so much that it's bad but more so that it's a little too intense of a red and could maybe be toned down with a touch of some white lights

newbie question....how can you tell the mommon are truelly mommon with or without cert? Anyone have a good sample of putting them side by side and tell the different or what to look for?

To get great red color feed color enhancing pellets which you're probably already doing. Also, you can add some red plastic plants or red rocks which will reflect just enough red to highlight your fishes color without having the picture look like its filtered red. How about you add a flowerhorn in the tank for a bit of personality? Awesome tank and fish, thanks for sharing!
