Marble Gar??

Hey Guys,

Just got this cool gar from a lfs, Owner told me it's a Marble Gar.. But I can't find anything regarding this gar on the internet.. Anyone know the scientific name or another name for this gar?

It's currently about .25in thick & 5in in length. and has pinkish tail

Cool watching him hunt and eat.. hopefully i can get a chance to photograph when it strikes like a cobra..

cool gars...a bud of mine got an lepisosteus ocellatus and he was wondering if they ate dried shrimp or jumbo min...

looks like it's between a aligator gar and a neeldle nose gar.... maybe its a hybrid!
