Yea Evilmeannasty, is close to me, i think hes exit 5, he was selling a bunch of cool stuff a while back on here...

Seaworld, i rarely go to now. the employees SUCK(except 1 lady),
the service SUCKS, they see you waiting for a fish, and run the other direction so they dont have to help...or no one is around.
the price SUCKS, all overpriced, they have a yellow hystrix for 130$ or so, its a friggan different colored retic.
the cleanliness SUCKS, So many dead fish, ich in tanks, fin rot...
the selection is OK, Ive seen Dats, Geo's, Rays, Aro's, and others but not on the norm, and when they have it, its overpriced...
the condition of the fish is ok, but sometimes SUCKS. (ich,fin rot, starving)
Ive found only 1 lady there in FW knows her stuff, she has the long black ponytail.. shes awesome.

I asked if they price match, the owner said yes if you have a written statement by the other store about the product and price with a picture. RIDICULOUS!


Oh and JIM i have no license still, its been a looooong time.

Phil is a good guy. I actually bought both his M. uranoscopus cats and a bichir when he was selling everything. I really wanted his fahaka, but there is no way in hell he's going in one of my tanks with other fish...that thing broke a Stealth heater!!!

I agree about Sea World...I don't think I've bought anything there in a long, long time. Just a heads up too, I've offered them much lower prices on trade-ins and they've taken it. I got a couple of Jade Sleeper Gobies for $10. But if you're looking to pay their retail prices, you're probably better off taking out a second mortgage.

How do u go about haggling with seaworld? Usually i get the 16 year old clerk who doesnt know the difference between an african and S.A cichlid. So which clerk do you go to for haggling and trade ins and such? The owner with the mustache or the skinny guy with the glasses?

Yeah. At the auction! I think I might make the trip on Sunday. I usually buy my fish from this crappy LFS in F.R.

It costs nothing to walk in and bid. I'm making a stop at the Fish Bowl around 10AM tomorrow then I'm heading up there. Hopefully I'll find a stand for my 50 gallon tank.

Cause andyourblueblood doesn't work there anymore. That place sucked before he got there and it will suck again.

You should give him a ride to the auction even though he doesn't want to go.

I'm sure there will be something there for everyone but I can't say for sure because it will be my first time going to this one.
