i'm currently seeking to obtain this fish,(true stock,no hybrids or red by red outcrosses) if anyone has this fish or knows of someone who does, please let me know, i don't mind if the stock is not f1 as long as the quality is good, and it is the true species,...metriaclima estherae"minos reef", blue males red females from hatching, and no outcrosses or hybrids

I have a two uncommon brown ones, not sure if that is what you want though. Good luck, lots of people are taking about estheraes recently in this forum.

i have a brown female estherae too! ,(it came from a wildcaught and f1 breeding) i too have a nice strain of electric yellows , sorry , i still don't know if this brown female estherae is gonna throw orange female babies,..we'll see,..she's just a baby (about 2 years old and didn't hold well the last spawn),..hopefully as she gets older she'll fiqure it out. (she held for about only a few hours (i watched the spawning) and then she spat all her eggs out , and i had the "pleasure" of watching some of the other tank inhabitants eat the eggs, before she tried to "re-pick-them up" (she spat the eggs to shuffle them instead of keeping them in her mouth) she did this 2 or 3 times before the other fish became aware of a "free meal" i've heard of this problem, but have never experienced it personnally before,

minos reef is the type i'm wanting,..(red males EXTREMELY rare in the wild (more of a peach coloring actually),...) unless outcrossed to rxr's in captivity, then more common as the blue is recessive ,..but it's the "true" species i'm after,..(blue males ) if yer friend does have them,..cool! ,...hook me up

i now have limited quantities of the TRUE metriaclima estherae "minos reef" aka redXblue available soon,as well as some nice metriaclima zebra "chiofu bay" available now, NO HYBRIDS
