Flowerhorns have Koks. Midas and other pure cichlids have Nuchal Humps. There's really no way of determining if your Midas will have a large Nuchal Hump. Maybe seeing how the parents look will give you a better idea of what genes were passed on to it. Hierarchy in the tank, diet, temp., and genetics will determine the size of its Nuchal Hump. If you're looking for a gigantic Kok, then stick with FH. Some Midas will grow a large Nuchal Hump, but if you're trying to keep a fish that has a truly monstrous Kok,then FH are what you're looking for. Since I don't keep FH, I don't know what type would grow the largest Kok. You'd have to check in the FH section to find out.
<<<<< Look at my avator R.I.P, but yes look at the parents and if you have the oportunity watch him with his tankmates if u want AUTHORITY and DOMINANCE pick the one thats runin the tank, **** after thats its up to you and your raising methods food, water quality, water temp., tank size (and I'm not talkin about the biggest tank necessarily), tankmates, etc.....

I think living in Thailand you could find some really nice Midas, & Fh's.
If your looking for something red/orange/white with a nice kok, you should look for Red Texas/Super Red Texas.
They're pretty famous in your country, & highly sought after in many other countries for a high quality fish.
You're lucky you don't need to pay the price for shipping & must have access to many of the farms these fish come from.

In actual fact,I am a big fan of FH but not so much of RT.I'm also very fasinated with the vieja spieces from your country which is very rare here in this part of the world where I live.I am looking out for synspilums,bifes and my favourite bedohri
