What's the deal here?....as much of an attention whore that McGregor has been before he got his butt whooped suddenly he does not want to take part in any promotional activities?

Its all about the $$$$... I guarantee it. Either Conor was trying to hold out for more and Dana said take a hike; or Dana started offering less because of the loss and Conor said take a hike.
Was pretty much my take on it also. Apparently Conor posted on Twitter yesterday that he was retiring? Wondering if he's obligated to more fights by contract...
I think it's lame of him to retire after his first loss....it's all roses as long as he's winning and looking good and talking trash.If money is actually the root cause then that's something else but I'm sure that is addressed in his contract agreement.
The fact he's the biggest trash talker in the game, but now doesn't want to take part in any press releases with the dude that choked him out seems a bit suspicious... Lol
