I would disagree with the Fahaka idea, they easily get to 12 inches in a year and 18-20 inches over all, the dimensions of the tank would make for very cramped swimming/hunting space. They are very active fish and despite the overall gallons they need a bit more length to swim.

How about one big serra rhom. Get a 12"er at that size it's gonna grow real slow would be a perfect wet pet

Here's my picks for tank: freshwater anglerfish , koi- Angels, archerfish, needlefish, freshwater moray, couple green striped silver dollars

Or a gulper catfish, celestial danios,zebra danios, Oto catfish, endless guppies, and cherry red shrimp in a moderately planted tank

for a cube tall Angels about it, matter of fact just screams alums please. would need to read up on your black water tank keeping tho first.

I had a cube like that not to long ago. It was Acrylic. They are great for Fancy Goldfish , Planted Discus Tank , or a Reef tank. To closed in for Aggressive fish. Good Luck --Keep us updated.
