what is the best mosquito larvae eating fish

why? do you want to get rid of them in a pond? Guppies would eat them up pretty quickly

Guppies indeed. If you have other fish there, then mosquitofish are not really an option. They are nastier than the guppies.

well i am going to put it in a pond and its going to be a supply of food for my live bearer pike

Gambusia are of the same genus as guppies.

To be honest...any of the common livebearers should get rid of the mosquito larva pretty quickly, and breed fairly fast so are good as a food source...I don`t know how well minnows like rosy reds would work, but you could probably try them to.
