Most aggressive fish for a 75 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a belly crawler that hated everyone but he wasn't a real glass banger. They're really cool though.

I like pike cichlid I have had only a red devil for a while and it honestly disappointed me it wasn't that aggressive I just want a truly evil fish sorry if that sounds weird I just want something that will keep company from putting, hands in the tank

Mine was a psycho! He would flare his gills and head butt/bite the glass when he saw me. He even tried to swallow, and nearly did, an Oscar that was half his size! Amazing colours as well, at points he was full on green and black tiger stripes.

I totally understand, I got my hairy puffer and fahaka for that exact reason... You wouldn't want to put your hand in a tank with either! I have to feed then before water changes otherwise they attach me and the water pipe!

Typically, Red Devils are pretty aggressive. A jag will out grow a 75 pretty quickly. I think I've seen way more glass banging Red Devils than I have jags.

A red devil would as well, 75g is that annoying middle ground where it is to big for small fish and the real tank terrors are just a little too big.

a puffer would be cool are they easy to maintain? And yah I just don't want a red devil is there anything else that would be similar in aggression thanks for all the input, guys I appreciate it!

I've seen a couple really psycho green terrors but I don't think it's too common for them to be glass bangers.
Flower horns have a nice reputation of being aggressive too.

Problem is puffers that would work in that tank are pretty boring. They sit and wait to ambush prey. I have a hairy puffer that I love but would not put him in an area with a lot of traffic because there is just not much to see. But if you dont mind a pet rock, puffers can be interesting and the lurker types easy to keep.
