most aggressive smaller cichlid

The true green terror andinoacara stalsbergi makes the false green terror or andinoacara rivalutus, which is the one most commonly referred to as the green terror seem tame. It has an aggression on par with Mbunas. They are much more aggressive than normal green terrors which in my experience have dominated mbunas including a crabro and yes, a jewel. Central American cichlids have stronger dentition because they are predominantly omnivores and they are usually more muscular

normal green terrors are total wimps jewels have totally dominated them they have weak jaws

five stars are much stronger
A green terror is much stronger than a jewel jewels have been dominated by mere convicts
A true green terror must be kept with much larger and aggressive cichlids like red devil Jaguar and buttie
Green terrors are larger, more muscular, and have stronger dentition they cannot lose to a jewel unless the gt is a junevile, a full grown jewel is only on par with a full grown convict
A salving can beat a jewel or a convict while a true green terror could beat all three as well as the average gold saum and jack Dempsey and maybe a neet.
They are on par with festae
Make sure that the green terror is not a junevile and it would wreck any jewel
The only reason why jewels and convicts are able to beat larger cichlids is that the bigger ones aren't full grown yet, being full grown makes a huge difference. Also Central American cichlids are more carnivorous and have more muscle and stronger jaws
The andinoacara stalsbergi is much stronger that a gold saum

ok well i had a normal jewel kill a sal that kept trying to attack it, and it killed it without a a mark

it can go both ways

but a five star could kill them all easy so could a neolamprologus christyi put any green terror in a tank with either of those give them 5 mins terror is dead

A true green terror is leagues above a normal green terror and will put up a good fight against a five star
I had a gold saum murder my dominant crabro while the crabro was defending its fry the Saum and crabro were both seven inches so no, Central Americans over africans
It also killed a four inch jewel
A gold saum is already leagues above a salvini and a true green terror is leagues above a gold saum
So a stalsbergi can beat a five star or a christyi or any other African of a similar size
That being said, I also had a convict murder a larger chipokae in my mixed cichlids tank

here is a five star with a dovii like any green terror would last a second

i have 8 five stars

a convict kill a chipokee? only if the chip was sick or a baby proof please or its not true

look what this five star did to these cichlids dominated tank full of the most powerful ca cichlids, He gave a beating to that green terror not sure if thats a true green terror or not though. Both suck when it comes to real deal fish like devils, tilapia etc..

you are dreaming

here is a five star and a convict pair

there is no proof of green terrors doing anything but getting beaten up

I do vouch for the N CRystii they have nasty nasty teeth they might be able to take a five star idk

I guess that a five star and a true green terror may be equal
The true green terror andinoacara stalsbergi does not have the gold lining and the conspicuous eyespot of the gold saum or andinoacara rivalutus
so the green terror in the previous pic was rivalutus which is much less aggressive than stalsbergi
this is a gold saum

this is stalsbergi

also the fish in the fights were juveniles and weren't fully developed. The gold saum was definitely a juvenile and so was the dovii. Juveniles are more timid and aren't as assertive as adult fish and also don't have the required weaponry. The stalsbergi above is an adult and its powerful jaws would give it a victory over any normal jewel and give a five star more than a run for its money.
In the fight between the convict and jewel, the jewel was bigger and had the advantage.

On the issue of proof, I would like to go by the honor system but I would like to point out you have had no proof that a jewel killed your salvini so I have no way of knowing whether the salvini was a juvenile or not. The killings happened in a 120 mixed cichlid tank with crabros, kenyi, chipokae, , Gold Saum GTs, JDs, and convicts the tank has since gone and I only have the convicts, GTs and JDs now. The gold saum was the dominant fish for sure and everything cowered in its path after it killed the previous alpha male, the crabro.
