Most annoying substances with aquariums?

The big one is probably algae in its various guises for most hobbyists. But once you learn to embrace algae as part of the "ecosystem", rather than frustratingly try to eliminate every last bit, then algae becomes something you no longer hate, you just accept it.

That's where I'm at with algae anyway.

I don’t mind algae anywhere except the moss lol. I don’t get much to be honest.

My other pet peeve is aquasoil that is so loose no plant stays in place if slightly knocked by any fish.

For me it's the hard water deposits.

The rest is manageable. Hard water spots,just nothing you can do. If you have a hard water tank your gonna get the the deposits.

I also agree about the deposits everything else i can clean in the tank with a magnet or siphon hose but the water deposits on my glass lids suck i have to take them to the shower to clean
