just this morning. RTCxTSN ate my effin Jur. I need to be in a padded room when bad news is broke to me. I just hit things too hard. I'm not happy at all and on the war path considering ending this thing's life. Not going to to but I'm way pissed.
Glad to hear everyone's catfish are healthy and doing what their bodies are designed to do! They are what they are. Don't be mad at them. You put them in your tank!

I love these guys. LOLOh I'm gonna be mad. Nothing will change that. Mad at myself, mad at the fish even tho he is doing what Mother Nature design him to do. I'm not home enough and suggested the X be upgraded from the Q tank.

Those things grow so fast it really is not funny. It just sucks that I lost a damn expensive and impressive fish for the purpose of a meal. He moved up to the big boys now and that cannot happen again.

My 4" marble ate two 2" pbass- on the same day!

My 28" rtc ate a 15" black bullhead, but the bullhead was only the price of a worm, hook, and some gas. I thought for sure he'd puke up some bones and other nasties, but no, he digested the whole thing in 3 days, and was eating shrimp again after that.
RTC 15" consumes in one night a 5"Jag. 4" NTT, 5" FeiFeng about 90 bones worth, along with the standard 12 prawns he's tossed daily...He was doing so well with the others...it's like he just couldn't help himself I guesss...friggin' eating adddict...

My 12" RTC ate my 8" RTC. That is pretty much the most expensive fish he has ever eaten. I have a pleco that is almost 2 feet long in my tank now. He wont bother it. It's really funny. When the pleco is stuck to the bottom with his sucker my rtc will push him around the whole tank with his nose until the pleco goes to one of the sides.
