Motaguense thread

Bump. Haven't posted for awhile. His growth has seemed to slow quite much. My hand roughly 7 inches from base to tip of middle finger.

I was looking at this fish closely today and realized that it's a loisellei not a mota. This is the second time I've been sold loisellei as motaguense in the past couple of years. First from a cichlid convention and then from the wetspot. I'm starting to think parachromis is the most misidentified genus of cichlids of all.

In the same spot having been sold loisellei as mota from same supplier. I called and complained and they're offering me a refund.

Thank you cich! I remember when he was a little guy. He is nearing 1 y/o. Hopefully he will beef up and get some thickness like your big boy soon
