Mourning Gecko Eggs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think that mourning gecko eggs get stuck to whatever they're laid on; removing them can destroy the eggs. If they were laid on the glass you can tape a clear plastic cup over them to protect them. If they were laid on a piece of furniture that can be removed then you can incubate the whole thing.

This.

Also, just my own experience from similar geckos, they often will hatch anyway if you forgo the cup method, if the cage is sprayed on a regular basis. However is you really really want these to hatch, the above advice is the way to go :)

Just leave the Eggs alone..They will hatch no problems..attempting to remove then will destroy them..Covering them can cause them to mold over.

I started with 1 and I have approximately 24.

Mine are kept in an 18x18x24 ZooMed fully planted tank with a Dendrobates Auratus.
If there is plenty of Cover and plenty of food they will be fine.

Do you have any Fruit Fly Cultures or are you feeding baby food or a gecko food.

I feed mine Fruit Flies and Fresh Bananas. And Once in a while I will feed an Organic Sweet Potato Baby or Organic Apple Sauce

Have you heard the Chirping yet? Amazing how loud they are for such a small gecko?
