Get it on and bang a gong!!!!

If I might wax poetic for you for a moment to encourage you that you are indeed not insane.

The funny thing about the people who are fish rescuers is that while many a keeper seeks out the rare breed to keep. Rescuers become a rare breed.

Here is a saying that I have coined for how life should be lived.

"Aspire to inspire, yet, do not retire to perspire!"-Chef James Scott

What good is a passion for something if it does not make it past the will do stage.

Goethe said it this way "Whatever you can do or dream you can..... BEGIN IT boldness has Genius and Power Magic in it!"

When I first saw your thread on ac, I was rather shaking my head at the posts of some of the people there. Such pompus and arrogant words coming from them. Such a sickening display of smack talking without even bothering to find out what the real deal is behind the person posting the thread.

To reference one of the fish that is mentioned in this thread. Your new oscar, should it have been left to languish in the 20g. I think not.

I say bravo on the 700 and look forward to seeing the other stuff you have in the works.
I really appreciate it chef. Im trying to do the best I can. :)

Your very welcome. Let me know when you decide to find a new home for those id sharks. ;)
You should build a second pond where the car is supposed to be "parked" and open up a fish boarding service. You could board fish that are too big for their current homes until their owners can get a suitable tank for them.. hmm... then you would have to option of offering them a permanent home if they figure out they can't house them.

I wish fish were like dogs. Only because dogs get to go have play dates with other dogs pretty much wherever. It would be awesome to take my fish over and let them "run" around in your tank with some buddies for while.

Even with just the plecs gone, I notice a difference in the tank. Evidently I sat there staring at my tank looking sad for a while. lol. I can't imagine yet more aside from the giraffe missing.

Hmmm maybe. That sounds neat to do. Ill consider that when I get the tank up and going. Did that guy ever come for the giraffe cat?

I am so thinking of buying one of those 700.... we need more people who can rescue...
I don't know if you said or not... What kind of filter or filters do you have on this?
They are cheap and effective. I love the wide footprint because it allows the fish to spread out from each other. The filter is a diy filter with a torpedo t10000 pump. Here is the thread about the filter.

700 gallon stock tank $300
2 titanium heater packages (2 heaters and a controller in a package) $200
