We like to wake surf to surfer music from the 60s. Great to listen to on long drives. Music from the Surfaris, Beach Boys and Jan & Dean being among my favorites.
"Wipeout" is the ringtone on my phone...love that song...I do try to remember to mute my phone when I'm in a doctor's office..quite loud and startling when Wipeout first starts. It is also startling when it goes off when I am shopping....I answer the phone pretty quickly
The story of Wipeout is pretty cool. The surfaris were teenagers when they first came together as a band. They were in a recording studio to record "Surfer Joe" and needed a song for the back. On the spot, right there in the studio, they came up with "Wipe Out"
