That sucks so bad bro....those were some awesome fish! Sorry for your loss. I went out of town for a couple days myself recently and had bad things happen to my tank. It took about a week for it to recover. That's the only bad thing about planted tanks is that they require constant and consistent maintenance. Do you know what happened that caused the deaths? It may be worth addressing so that similar problems don't happen to others.

I had actually wanted to post a thread regarding maintaining your planted aquarium on vacation. I think it would be really useful and beneficial knowledge.

Otherwise, your tank is always impressive!

thanks... i thought they were as well. those exotic guppies are hard to come by... the L204 isn't easy either!

what happened to ur tank when u went out of town?

i blame the cardinals... they must of went ballistic and ate the guppies tails and harassed the pleco into submission.. i tested the water right away and there was about .5PPM ammonia... i assume it was from all the dead fish in tank...to be honest i have no idea what killed the pleco and guppies.. all my cardinals and corys are doing great.. something very direct and specfic got to the pleco and guppies...u should make a thread explaining what to do to prevent loss during abscenes/vactions.

Hey it's looking amazing still and I'm sorry about your losses, they were great looking fish, but hey that just gives you another reason to buy more fish anyways, I might be getting to you very shortly about buying some of your plants. Do you think you could give me a rough estimate of some of your plants. If you could calculate shipping into there too, that'd be great. My zip is 91356

i think ill hold off on buying more fish for now.. im still working on my new set up. plus the bio load is already a lot..

15 cardinals and 6 corys in a 15 gallon with 1 ac20 lol
not my style at all but the water parameter have been great for a long time. something very direct killed the guppies and pleco... not the water..

i can give u 20 stems of hygro, a hand full of duckweed and some honwort for $5

that's noting but... shipping cost will be a lot, got to make it express to.. i dont know how much it will cost i need to find out.


my other plants aren't for sale at the moment.

hahaha!!

ok update time!!

i noticed a bit of strange activity today!!

seems one of my corys maybe pregnant!! it has a huge belly and is being chased around by 2 other corys!! they rapidly swim to her and start nudging her and then she nudges back then swims away!! they sometimes get into little cluster fights and all go bumping around until the prego cory escapes.. of course the others follow right after her!!

i also removed all my java moss... it was collecting to much debris...

i did a water change so the tank is a little cloudy.. please ignore that..
