Very awesome build. You did a fantastic job. If i wasn't burned out onmy own DIY I would use this thread for inspiration. Good job.

Very impressive!
Did you only use membrane in the corners or did you do the whole tank?
I really like your tools. Any chance of you labelling them or explaining them. I can see your De Walt plunge saw ans your Bosch saw and your router, but could you explain the other tools and how you used them.

Once again I am most impressed.

Thanks

James

All of the excess around the outline of the tree is getting jig sawed out, only leaving the tree itself.. Then i am shaping the branches and so on.. So it will be 3D.

Sumps for me are harder to understand than woodworking.. I would rather just plug in my two Eheims in this case..:D

the whole tank has 3 coats of Membrane.. Then 3 coats of Epoxy paint.

I didn't get all my tools in there. I also was using my Hitachi C10FS chop saw and my Bosh table saw.. The router I was using for rabbiting the edges of the oak styles and rails so i could get the 3/8 reveal I wanted.. The Multi master is nice for cutting out things such as the openings of the stand for the doors.. I use the plunge rail saw for cutting length of plywood for a nice straight edge so i can final cut on the table saw. The pasload nail gun is nice cause i don't have to lug a darn cord around.. I also used a 23 gauge wire nailer in some spots.. can barely see the nail holes.

I have so many other tools its crazy.. But this is what i do for a living.. so i have to have all of them.. without I am homeless.. lol

More pics are coming this weekend guys.. Thanks for the nice feedback.!!

I'm off to work now..
