And here I am, almost 7 years later...admiring the build. Looking to do my first plywood tank, 3 sided viewable. Didn't think it was possibly to butt the glass up together in these builds..don't see that too often. Lots of products available to seal/waterproof.
Actually it was only 2 side viewable. The other two sides were just plywood. The glass butts never leaked a single drop. You just have to make sure it's thick glass 3/4" and use a big bead of silicone. Also the supporting corners need fiberglass reinforcement. Other than that it's just a plywood box. If I was to do another one I'd make it a 3 side viewable with 3 pcs of glass.
