Just a suggestion.... if your new guy starts eating the fry you can use a big plastic tote to hold them while you get the 55 fixed or replaced. I have had to do that a few times with fish in an emergency when I have no suitable tanks at the moment. Hob filters fit right on the side and I’m sure canisters would work fine too.
I’m sure you probably already know this, but I figured it never hurts to put it out there:)

The fry are looking great! You have a ton of them!
My favorite is the little guy from the first batch. So adorable!

That was the other real oddthing that happened yesterday. The Mgmt showed up later in the day with a brand new washer and dryer for my apt. Then informed me that will be back a lot sooner to finish the rest of the remodel. Like a few weeks so my one tote I have I will need to use to put fish in while I move tanks about.
They want to start in the living room, so I have to move the tank in there now to the dinning room. When they finish with the living room they want to do the bedrooms. So the nice tank in my room will go into the living room. The one in the dinning room goes into my room and lastly they redo the kitchen. Gonns be hell but I get a brand new apt out of it. Good thing I am a broke basterd and have no furniture save my tanks........

Well that's the end of Caspers breeding days. He has killed off two female's and a male. He has this last batch to raise up to a sellable size then off to solo wet pet land of the whole 125 for himself.

My House!
Sorry for your loss. :(
Are you going to keep any of Goldie's fry or sell them all off?
