Yeah. Head/body ratio is different, too! How large do sagittae grow?
The internet don't have much info on Saggitae at all. Only size I have seen posted is >15cm, so bigger than 6 inches...
He is around 11 inches now, we shall see!

It's funny how many of Caspers pictures shows up when you Google "Amphilophus Saggitae" then tab over to images.
For me it was 14 of the first 40 pics

Jexnell Jexnell , heres a little update on Caspers kids.

Its funny with the 3 kids I got from Wet Spot that the two that seemed white really were more of a cream color as they grew out and the one that looked like it was going to be two toned is very white with an orange nose. Never really know at the

Down to just two Sagittae now since I introduced one to the 300 too soon and it got ate by my endli. I thought it was big enough...but nope.

My observations so far: This I can say without a doubt, the Sagittae are much more aggressive than the midas I am raising. Seen them take on fish much bigger than themselves and they get right into the thick of it with the bigger midas. They are growing slower than the midas and have a leaner, elongated body as opposed to the bulky midas.
