finally getting along!
Finally setting up the 210 this weekend. Holes in stand widened to allow bulkhead access... Drains and returns installed. HAve to go with a 55 for the sump instead of 75. Have glass baffles in from local glass shop, Poret foam on the way and a cubic foot of K1 just got here!
Some updated pics... tank looks dirty but that is actually beneficial black beard algae that I am cultivating HAHA. They’ll be moving out soon anyway. My chocolate cichlid died last week... now sure how or why.

Finally getting around to set up the filtration and sump for their tank. Plan is to use a sump plus FX6.
When designing my sump I originally was going to do glass baffles. In fact I already ordered some and was planning to do a refugium section, a K1 area and a separate/isolated pump and heater section.
Sump is cleaned. Seals are ok.
1/4” glass baffles.
Pumps are 2x Active Aqua 1000GPH. At around 6ft head they will be 600-700 GPH. Heater is Finnex 800 Watts. I’m hoping the heat from the pumps makes it a little easier for the heater to do its job. The garage is heated anyway.
