Here is a recent video of the Piraiba from Peru.
Hey, thanks, Vince!! Gorgeous fish it is. I am looking forward to when you place this guy with the Suriname piraibas in a 3000 gal for a side-by-side comparison.

What size is it? I am not readily catching any significant difference in the body structure after a quick glance.

How is it getting along with the juruense?

He is about 13-14 inches ... going to give him another month or two before throwing him in the 3000 :) The most notable difference that i see is the head/snout structure. The ones from Suriname cats seem to have a more elongated head/snout area when compared to this one. The Jurenese and this fish don't interact much... the piraiba's torn fins are from battles with the B.V cat

Looks awesome as always.
Thank you fishnatics fishnatics

Absolutely stunning! I love him
I'm glad you enjoy the video dazzapolypterusweeksii dazzapolypterusweeksii

I am stumped, what's a B. V cat? B. vaillantii in there too? If yes, then it agrees with my experience, my vaillantii is a jerk, never a mark on him but on all his Brachie tank mates..

As far as I could see the only other cat in the video is the RTCxparoon.
