My comet goldfish, Willy, is kinda turnin white

My comet goldfish Willy was bright gold and looking great but he’s been starting to turn white at the ends of his fins and some on his lower scales! What could this be and how could I help it? Thank you and I hope everyone has a great new year!

Looks like it may just be normal coloration coming in. Most goldfish will get those lighter fins.

Goldfish can change a lot as they age. It is the fun and frustration of them. Enjoy the ride.

I’ve had black ones go orange, orange white, gold orange. Just goldfish being goldfish.

Hi guys could i put my gold fish 1 shubunkin and 1 comet both about 3/4 of an inch in with my gourami the temp in the tank is about 72-73 at the moment and it is 240 litres can I do that or no

Yeah in my koi pond all of the goldfish were orange and several of them turned completely white. Completely normal
