if you cant find a lid just use a HUGE piece of PVC lol

thats cool i made my own canister filter too it is for my 100 gallon. i used a tie down to secure the lid though so it isn't as bad to open up however the pump is stuck on the canister and cannot be removed.

How much planning was involved to match the pumps physical size and the piping?

what guided your decision to design it pull instead of push? (pump after filter media)
or do you have water flowing top to bottom?
