its nasty cus its been in the water for a few months.
i used 1x2 wood for the frame
i had to put a rock on it for the first few weeks for it to sink.
sinks on its own now.
then i had a small roll of metal screen that i stapled to the wood.
then on one end i cut from the center out a few times and bent the tabs in.
make the hole a little bigger then the fish you want.
on the other end i stapled only one side "like a flap".
then attached a bungee cord to it.
thats how i get the fish out.
then tie a string or rope to it so you can tie it to a branch/tree/bush/rock/esc.
use anything as bait.i use bread the most.
last week i put a cucumber cut up in it.today there was one pleco and no trace of cucumber.
did he eat it?or did the cucumber just disintegrate?
today i put bread and raw sausage,we will see next week.
i check once a week.usually 1 to 5 fish in it.
hope this helps someone.
next im making a big trap with lots of entry ways, and bigger meshed screen to attract more.
will show it once i start.
