that is a very nice conspet! try to catch that moster of a pleco!

but if i would try to build a fis trap i'd build one that used the design of a minnow trap almost no fish get out of them!

the fish go in the funnel but have a harder time getting back out of the smaller hole! this is more or less the design of quail and other gamebird traps!

you like my diagram!! i used the periods beause other wise it took out the spaces! :screwy:

oooooohhhhhhhh, ok, thats still pretty weird. i geuss its all cause its darker and harder t see nder the murky water?:screwy:

it is because it is easier to get in when the hit the funnel its easier just to follow it back in! but to come out the entrance is smaller to go out of instead of the funnel the funnel is a larger ebntrance!

i dont kno how else to explain that!

Amazing that in FL you have plecos in native waters, also what are your state regulaions towards bait taking and catching? in some states you need a permit and or can get fined.

i dont kno bout florida but in a lot of places when you are fishing and you catch an invasive species you are required to destroy it! but not in all places! i dont kno bout florida! they may have just given up on that!:screwy:

thats how mine is kinda,you just cant tell.
thats why you bend in the tabs,i didnt just cut a circle.

only rule is if its a game fish it must be released.
