now figure out a way to make the tube flexible so i can get into the hard to reach spots and ill give you a cool point.

since i got a new 240 i needed a long vac like the 2 footer i was planning to make.
well i made it and it is freekin sweet
i dont have to get wet to vac my 240
the clear plastic tube is 1-1/2" my python is 2"
so this diy one sucks way better then my python cus the smaller tube and bigger hose.
it sucked crap 2 feet up no problem.
also made the small one.
it works saweet also.
i put a big bead of silicone in the center of the connector.
then smeared silicone on the inside of the connector,tube end of it.
stick it in and turn a bit then smear the big bead over the tube in the center.
i used pvc glue on the middle fitting just so i know it doesnt leak.
then added thread tape stuff to last fitting.
also added a hose clamp on the hose just to be sure.
next is long hose with fittings to fit to a sink or a garden hose.

buy a replacement end for a garden hose
attach it to the end of the diy vac
then swap the diy gravel vac with the small vac that was on the python.
now i can change sizes for each tank and still have the shut off valve and sink attachment.

Lol, this is good.. But wouldn't it be easier/cheaper if you just bought it? Theres one bound to be 2 foot +
