Pacus are like little puppies..Hand feed em nightcrawlers...like the ones you would use for fishing. They love em! And cichlid gold pellets....the large ones in the red bag.

I have a 300 gal and that is too small for pacus, a public sized aquarium is good for them. I will buy mini pacus..........big type silver dollars for my tank. Also for big aquariums like 200, 300 and bigger cement floors needed

A friend of mine had two 30" pacus in a 240 gallon, but had constant cloudy water problems.

for two , you will need a tank bigger than this IMO.

the bigger the better. and I would go glass.

acrylic scratches fairly easily. and the glass on a tank that big will be very very thick, so even tankbuster fish should not be able to shatter it.

consider using acrylic and glass. btw gravel dislaces water so gravel doesnt add to the weights. glass does though and can add around 125lb for an all glass 300gallon
