It is a silver-ish arowana, around 12" and 3 years old. It's head was not like that yesterday. I also don't know if the white spots on its scales are natural, it had them for a while now. It has been breaching the surface of the water like its head cant sink since this afternoon. What should I do? :(

Take it to the nearest animal hospital in a large cooler as soon as possible. I'm not sure what that could be, but it is best to find a professional as soon as you can.

follow my directions in your other thread, but as stated I believe this fish is going to give up the ghost.

Mate that does not look good, surely it can't have gone like that over night?
He needs putting out of his misery urgently

It's gas bubble disease. I couldn't find anything to treat it, especially at this stage. ALL other fish you have could be in danger.

if that's what it is then they would have had to add a substantially higher temperature water to the aquarium quick fast and in a hurry.

I'm guessing this OP isn't coming back anyhow.

Thanks guys, it's cool. Its dead, thanks for the help.
Turns out he has drop eye, white spot, face boils and we were told it was floating because of a kidney problem.

Sooo, thanks guys? .... i think i'll stick to pleco and pebbles from now on.

Sorry for your loss but this issue surely not become this bad overnight, for whatever reason you don't want to tell us but for future you should better keep an eyes on your live stock better and notice anything unusual right away for treatment if needed.
