Since the rainbows would only hide in the 29g I moved them to the cube. They got really busy.

What filter/s are you running? The 60g cube is an air stone and sponge filter.
im using 450 gph filters with diy sponge media that lowers the gph alot though

I think you would be ok. A good mix of stem and rooted plants will help take up the excess nutrients.
