Probably has to do with natural predators/likely cover in the wild.

I finally ran a perimeter drain line for the auto water change system. It collects the water from the 260g and delivers it to the corner drain. This should help lower the humidity in the room.
Natural light only
Traded a fellow hobbyist 5 rainbow cichlid sub adults for a 3in ish gold head calvus.
Traded 120 juvenile and subadults rainbow cichlids to the Wet Spot. Picked up 3 Cory similis, a N. Transvestites pair, 3 J. Regani and 4 J. Ornatus.

I stopped into an lfs on the way home and picked up 6 more mini orcas too. I think this one is a male. Note the anal fin.

Sigh - the advantages of living near a premier fishstore. Wish there was a store equivalent to wetspot down here. Heck we don't even have clubs or trading groups.
I'm 2.5hrs from the Wet Spot ?. Only made sense because they were willing to take 120 fish.
The sad thing is they don't sell the one fish i am looking for - but i'd happily drive 3 hours to visit their store. Unfortunately i'm not willing to drive 5 days to visit
And I worry that the two best shops in the uk are both 50 miles away from where I live!
