Unplugged all the heaters for the summer. Tanks maintain about 75F through the heat wave.
Buffed out some scratches on the 260g and a scuff mark on the 60g. Started with 800, then 1000 and finished with Novus 3. With the novus I used full strength and then added some water to what I had on a piece of poly fill and the haze went away. 
It’s outside the fish room on the patio but…Scored a 500g pool pond full of koi!! My wife was perusing the next door app classifieds and found it listed for free. The fellow had it in his living room. 
Cleaned the inside, painted the back blue and swapped out the 5ft 100g. The 6ft 90g looks way better. Only complaint is that it’s not a 125g 
Traded plants for 6 F1 C. duplicarius.

My SD tank is only 6 ft. I too have a bunch of cories and a school of tetras and a small pleco, with 7 SDs (lost one some time back). But I am planning on adding ~3-5 fish. But mine will stay smaller than yours, as your red-hooks will eventually be huge.
My 7 fish are of 3 species, and I am heavy on males. I need to add certain species of fish, and of certain genders, not just any SD. I believe that more females is better for the 'troop' in the long run, and in daily behavior; this may be particularly important in relatively smaller tanks.
I am also putting together another tank (6'). Have not yet decided what to do with it.
