Well, I really screwed up. I have sold off 15 Silver Dollars so I would like to consolidate my large cichlids into the 260g. I moved the two chocolates and the female G brasiliensis. My male liberifer severum wasn’t having it. My male choco now has injury cataracts.

Sorry to hear - do you have a tank you can separate the choc into?
I never really thought of sevs as being an aggressor.

I moved them back to the 220g. This liberifer has always been aggressive. I wasn’t surprised when he didn’t like house guests but I was surprised my male choco didn’t stand up to him when my smaller female would. My female is half the size of the sev.

The male’s eyes are looking better. He’s still super pouty though. Female acts as if nothing happened.

Well, I now have a choice to make. My male N splendens died. I’m considering splitting up the 7 dwarves to see if they will spawn. But I could also use the tank for spawning Cory cats.
