Its been a long week/weekend.

Found out one of the braces on the 180 broke off. So that's fun.



Spent 3.5 hours today rinsing sand for the 300. Got a terrible sunburn too. Borderline blistering. But it's all worth it to see this




And my 7'+ monster jungle Val seems to have survived! (For reference, those snails are ping pong ball size)

All the plants are in. Just have to wait for the driftwood to sink so I can place the anubias



But more importantly all the fish are in too. Picture dump to follow

Nice set up, that's quite a project you have going there. I love the angels, I'm a big fan of them and Severum's. Keep the progress report and pics coming.

180 is still leaking out the bottom. The joys of adding silicone....

But everyone in the 300 is settling in and eating bloodworms.

Gah dang ponds are easy to set up. Went from empty space to full in 3 hours. And it took 2 to fill it up.

Turns out the 180, which is actually a 150 (OOPS can't math) has more problems than I thought. After covering the hole with silicone, it was still leaking. Couldn't figure out why...till I looked at the side panel....



That's two cracks. If I push on it, I can visibly see the seam come apart.

I'm siliconing it for now, but I don't think I'm going to trust it for an extended period of time. Gonna make a nice reptile habitat eventually!

150 is quite a lot of space! I'd keep an Ackie, the one at the shop where I buy frozen mice is "The ackie on crackie" because it just doesn't stop moving!

honestly we'll probably turn it in to a habitat for our ball pythons or there's a legless lizard at a store here. Might get that. or maybe the frilled lizard at the same store.
