Thanks mate!!OTp1144 , That is a beautiful tank. Would you please tell me about your lights, how many watts, as small as they are it looks like they really shine! Do they get very hot? Also would you describe what kind of filtration that you use? I saw that sponge filter but there must be more than that, yes? Overall, very impressive!
as far as i can tell, they're still around! i added 4 total and i've seen them on occasion since putting them in. I was worried the bass would snatch them up right away but they didn't seem to care at allBeautiful projects, lovely to see.
Now, the curiosity is killing me: how did that little Bristlenose baby do? I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst...
I decided to read your thread from page 1 to see if I can learn something new, Thank YOU! I may have be asking questions...Thanks mate!!
The lights are outdoor landscaping spotlights, 7W 6000K. got em on amazon Link
They don't get hot at all, can easily touch them with bare hand after they've been on all day
you're exactly right, the sponge filters are not all there is. LOL the 600g has a Laguna Pressure-flo 4000 with a Laguna max-flo 4250 pump moving ~3900gph after head loss. I also have a dead spot in one of the corners i was unable to easily get rid of, so just added an fx6 in said corner and problem solved![]()
