So if you would have use 2 different colors of pond armor from the beginning alternating colors you would have been able to see that you were getting full coverage on each coat?

He will be able to, as well as be able to judge wet thickness as well. However, in the best scenario, pond armor would be one coat and done. This build has proven to be difficult for him...

Question:
Is there any flex that you notice on any of the boards/walls?

Yeah this build has been difficult for sure. No flex whatsoever that I cansee.

And yeah once coat should have done it. When I did the 1500 I had the darkgray concrete boards under the blue so it was much easier to see the thin spotsafter the initial coat. With black it’s just about impossible to tell.

This blue coat on top should help resolve the issues.

Got some plumbing done tonight here are those pictures.

It may be difficult, but its a very beautiful build. I love the filter setup and the layout overall. I am positive your final coat of blue will make this ready to fill and cycle. Great build none the less.

I love the electrical work you did. Two separate circuits for the pumps and two GFI's. Awesome!

Questions on the pump plumbing: Looks like they both go into the filter, will they be valved so one pump can be maintained (turned off) while the other is running. Also are you going to check valve each pump return? Just incase one pump fails in the middle of the night the water would flow through the filter instead of getting pushed back through the failed pump?
Are those 2" lines with the filter? I just can't imagine having 2" lines on my filter!!!!!! WOW

Edit: I see the valves, looks like you can remove the pump easy if needed.
