Still no leak this morning. After filling the remaining 6" it promptly started leaking.. :(

Good news is I have never had it that full yet so I am ok with it. At least it's a new leak and i only have to work on the upper 8" of the tank.

Draining now and will pond armor tonight and maybe get in another leak test tomorrow.

So it's getting there.

So this morning I start the fill process and what happens?

*#%$*!# leaking well below the 30" safe zone I had on Friday & Saturday.

WTF!

I have to think it's the windows at this point.

Draining now will remove all the inside sealant from around the windows and reapply. I assume the seal for the windows on the face of the windows is ok since I don't get water leaking though those. It has to be something between the windows and/or the under side edge that is leaking.

I just don't get it. I really didn't expect the tank to leak below 30" like this.

Like you mentioned earlier in the thread, it could be the pressure from the fill opening a weak area well below the water line. When you filled it to above the 30" mark pressure caused something to leak well below that point. Draining the tank did not reseal that opening so when you refilled again, that hole is still there.

One thing I find strange is that you fill so soon after you put in the pond armor? Epoxy takes 7 days to cure. as father as i know, pond armor contains epoxy. Whatever it says on the label, i think You Have to wait longer to fill. Just a thought.

Since my English is bad, I use a translator. So you know if it sounds strange

Pond armor is an epoxy. The directions say it is safe to use after 72 hours but the FAQ says it's safe and ready to use the next day if there are no tacky spots.

And your english is as good as anyone elses here so no worries. lol

Weak spot(s) that opened up is still a possibility. I will still try the window reseal first then while I am at it I will silicone all the corners of the tank as well. Will have to let that sit for a few days and will try again middle of the week. With as much pond armor that I have on this thing though I wouldn't think that is the case anymore. But it's still a possibility.

Tank is drained and drying out, so I will continue with the plumbing while I wait.
